I purchased this nail polish during one of my many trips to Walgreens the last few weeks. I actually only paid $1 for this thanks to a coupon, so yay for bargains! From seeing this mentioned in peoples hauls, I wasnt sure if I was going to get it. The color is kind of plain jane, but I decided to give it a shot and Im really glad I did!
The shade is similar to that of wet cement, hence the name of the polish but color wise it is a soft, grey based taupe shade. In two coats it is completely opaque and beautiful. One thing I really liked about this polish is it applied very smoothly and was very shiny once it dried. One thing that sometimes drives me nuts with lighter shade polishes is when painting my nails and when theyre dry you see streaks galore but that doesnt happen with this!
I will say I really like the bottle style available for the Megalast polishes. Its nice and sleek and I will say I LOVE the applicator brush. Its somewhat similar to the Sally Hansen applicator brush, but I find the Sally brush is wider and I dont care for it that much, whereas the Wet n Wild brush is just perfect, at least for my nail bed. You may not feel the same since we all vary in opinion and personal preference.
Have you tried any of the new Wet n Wild Megalast polishes?
