Swatch amp Review: Bathina Body Balm

I received this "silky glimmering body balm" with the Luuux Benefit package that I received last month. I had some time to play around with it, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what my opinion is, now. So here you have it!

This body balm, called Bathina, is described on the packaging as follows:

"Gorgeous legs and arms when you dare to go bare. This irresistible golden-pink balm glides on a sheer, glimmering body finish. So go ahead, take a lasts longer...

To apply: For glimmering results, apply evenly with velvet puff. To accentuate the glow, buff in a circular motion."

This is indeed a golden-pink balm - it suits my skin tone (I`m warm-toned), which I like. The shimmer is dense but REALLY finely-milled, which is great, because it doesn`t give off a disco-ball effect. The "velvet puff" it comes with is basically a little padded terry cloth pillow (you will definitely need to wash this - the fabric it`s made of should be fine in the washing machine). There is also a LOT of product here - 1.5 oz. total. It may not seem like much, but this balm is very dense with shimmer and you really only need one pass with the applicator to get it to show up on your skin.

The only thing that I find really irksome about this product is the smells sweet, but quite chemical-y, with a faint whiff of...booziness. It is really hard to describe, but it`s definitely not something you want to go overboard with, unless you want to smell funny, lol.

I think this is a fairly good product, but given the scent and the fact that I know I won`t use it much (I see it as more of a "going out" or special occasion type product), I would not repurchase it.

Have you tried Benefit`s Bathina body balm? If so, what do you think of it? If not, what are your impressions?
