I haven`t read any of the Hunger Games book by Suzanne Collins yet so I`m not sure if this is true or not. To the people who has read the book, did you guys remember reading this paragraph? I find this really interesting... They both wrote the same thing in their books, "The Long Walk" by Stephen King and "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins which is "In a dystopian society a group of teenagers partakes in a competition held by a powerful figure. Only one of them can win, and the rest will die in the process. Their supplies are limited, and they`re given additional ones very rarely. The competition is a huge event, and they`re watched by the whole country. The protagonist is a 16 year old, the main antagonist is a generic bully, and the main theme is being torn between friendship and instincts to survive." I`m pretty sure Suzanne did copy this off of Stephen King, cause I don`t think people can write the same exact thing (like professional writing) unless they`re like soul mates or something. Another proof, is "The Long Walk" was written in 1979 and "The Hunger Games" was written in 2008. What do you guys think of this?
