I have both the Sugar Lip Treatment and the Sugar Lip Tinted Rosé one. They are quite expensive for lip balms, so I`m sure many of you want to know if they`re worth the price. I`ll talk about the two below, but I`ll start with saying that two things I liked about them were that they have SPF and I also liked the bottles.
Sugar Lip Treatment - $22.50
It`s hydrating and smells nice. The consistency is good, though I can`t really confirm that since it`s never been in my pocket or anywhere it can get really warm. It`s not glossy or too soft. It`s kind of like a more solid version of vaseline, so I`m questioning whether it`s just better to use vaseline than this. I haven`t used this one that much nor have I used it outside the house. It`s not a bad product, but it`s definitely overpriced.
Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment - $22.50
When I first started using it the colour didn`t really show up on my lips. I kept using it however just to moisturize. Sometimes I would put it in my sweater pocket and when I took it out to use it would be very warm and soft. It was kind of melted. When I applied it to my lips bits of the lip balm broke off. Now when I apply it the colour is there, but you really have to put a lot to notice it and at that point it just looks to shiny. I had it in my pocket today and when I went to use it somehow half of my lip balm disappeared. I`m down to the last mm. I honestly don`t know what happened because I had at least 10x as much yesterday. I don`t recommend this one at all!! So bad and so expensive. It`s also only moisturizing while it`s on your lips. Once it fades away my lips get soooo dry and desperate. My lips were more moisturized before getting this lip balm.
My verdict: Too overpriced and you can probably find better products for less money. I want to try the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm.
P.S. I haven`t been on in a while, but I`m glad to be back!
