It seems that Stephen Strasburg hasn`t slowed down this year, as he continues to mow down opponents. He looks better then ever, and has dominated in almost ever start win or loss. Its geting to that time of the year, where his inning limit is almost up. The Nats stated he will not be sat, nor pushed after he reaches this limit. The big issue is, Strasburg has been leading the Nats strong, and they more then likely will be a playoff team. Taking out your ace before the postseason can be a massive mistake, but something the front office is preparing to do. Though Strasburg has said he will throw in the playoffs, management says otherwise. To me this creates a big problem once his contract comes up. Not lettting the kid pitch when he feels fine will only lead to issues down the road.
What is your opinion, pitch him or sit him?
Is it fair to Strasburg that he gets no say?
How will the Nats do without him?
