Stovetop carrots amp potatos

Hey guys,
this is a quick side dish i made this past week. It`s really yummy and it can be done on the stovetop, in the oven.. whatever floats your boat!! I cut up about 3-4 large carrots & 1 huge potato. Peel both of them, on the potato you can leave a little of the skin if you want (i should have but looked it over). Cut it whichever way you like or works best, i did the carrots in sticks and the potatos in cubes. I cooked them seperately because i dont want one veggie to be more soggy than the other, plus i was originally just doing carrots. I put them on the stove- medium heat with a spoon of butter, a little salt & pepper till they were a little softer but still crisp (so it still has its nutrients). i later did the same with the potatos but you have to constantly stir the potatos because they can attach to the skillet. I than mixed them together to blend the flavors a little & have them be the same temperature. Simple & yummy!! This serves 3!
