Bok Choy, also known as Chinese Cabbage has to be one of my favorite vegetable side dishes )or main meals) to have all year round. I don`t know why but find the taste and texture of the plant to be incredibly delicious! It`s very easy to find in grocery stores and even more easy to prepare.
Like many people, I love having mine lightly stir fried, but you can also steam or boil it. tastiest way for me is to heat uo some oil on high heat, add some minced garlic and the bok choy to the stove and toss it around for a few minutes until the leaves are a bit wilted. I don`t like them too overcooked because that extra crunch adds a nice texture. And as you can see from the picture, a little sirachi sauce goes a long way with flavor.
Added benefits? Bok Choy contains a great amount of vitamin A and C, which is always a plus!
