The ever popular Stila Kitten eye shadow is one that we are all familiar with or have at least heard of. Months ago I purchased three Stila lip glazes from Ulta, when they were having a deal on them for $11 each. A friend of mine works there and so we got an employee discount on it as well!
Kitten is a shimmery golden nude color, and I quite like it over pink and nude lipsticks, it adds a little dimension to them.
The color is gorgeous! It has a nice sparkling effect, but isn`t so crazy that it looks like you sprinkled fairy dust on your lips. The shimmers are really fine, so there`s no grittiness. It`s a pretty sticky gloss, but because of this it stays on the lips for 4-5 hours with no need for reapplication. Also, it doesn`t transfer on to cups, I don`t know about you, but I get a little embarrassed if my lipstick or gloss transfers onto a cup or glass!
Not worth $22! I would not pay that much money for this lip glaze. There are drugstore lipsticks that are comparable, and the color range is not unique enough to make it worth the splurge. I don`t really like the packaging, it just looks cheap to me. For something that costs so much, you`d expect it to be a little more luxurious because the truth is girls, a lot of us do splurge for beautiful packaging! Also, when you first get it, you need to twist it at least 15x to get the gloss to come out, but after that 2-3 twists will do. The worst part of this packaging design, is that you will twist out too much product, and it`s inevitable. So if you don`t use this lip glaze for a while, then you`ll have this hardened gloss in the brush, which is such a waste of product and it`s messy.
Overall, it`s a beautiful color and a great lip gloss, but I would not recommend it because it`s not worth the full price. However, if Ulta does have the $11 deal again, then you should pick one up!
