For dinner tonight, my dad prepared Xoi Lap Xuong which translates to sticky rice with Chinese sausage. He incorporated dried shrimp that my aunt brought back from Vietnam in this dish as well. This is a really popular Asian (Vietnamese/Chinese dish) that you will typically see at Asian markets and bakeries. Sometimes you`ll see this type of rice and sausage with additional toppings with like: dried/shredded pork, shredded eggs, dried assorted meats. Overall, this was really good and I can`t wait to have some for lunch tomorrow!
Have you ever had sticky rice with Chinese sausages? Do you add anything else other than the dried shrimp? I also like the shredded eggs on top and a dash of soy sauce.
