Just like eggs, there are so many different ways that you could cook with tofu. What I love most about tofu is that it absorbs whatever flavor that you pair it with and no matter how you cook it: stir-fry, steamed, deep fried, braised etc, it always come out tasting delicious even though it is such a simple dish. I love cooking with tofu because it is extremely nutritious and also a great source of protein for vegetarians like myself, and tofu is such an easy ingredient to work with. I especially love this dish, steamed tofu over gravy topped with a little bit of mushroom floss. My husband who is a big fan of tofu loves eating this so I try to make it whenever I can:)
