When I was on a sweet potato diet years ago (don`t judge!), I was young and silly then...I would starve myself and only eat steamed potatoes for days or weeks! Now that I know that this is the unhealthiest way to loose weight, I`ve long forgo the yoyo-dieting and just try to eat as healthy as I can and exercise regularly. Steamed sweet potato is extremely nutritious (high in Vitamin A), healthy and it does keep you full if you pair it with rice and other vegetable dishes. I love it steamed because sweet potatoes are naturally sweet on its own and you really don`t need all that much seasonings:)
