I am from the Midwest, and here we really enjoy our share of meat. Steak is one of my favorite entree options to have on special nights. I usually find myself having chicken about 85% of the time, so when it`s time for me to have some beef I get really excited.
Best thing about beef? It`s really great for regulating your Iron content in your blood. A lot of people believe that eating beef is bad for you, but everything is good in moderation. Our ancestors survived by eating red meat, and so should we.
I definitely enjoyed this huge plate filled with red meat, a bit of porkchop and a handful or broccoli and mushrooms (my favorites!). It`s also a very simple meal that you can whip together in less than 20 mins. Easily season the red meat as you like (salt, pepper, garlic, etc), and throw them on a skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side. Then lightly sautee your mushrooms and steam your broccoli.
And there you have it, a wonderful dinner!
