Steak and eggs for breakfast? Yes please!
Like I mentioned in previous food posts, I usually like to start my morning off with a nice workout (which usually leaves me drenched in my own sweat, gross I know). Because I usually try to work out on a light stomach, meaning I only have an apple before my workout, I am usually starving by the end of it.
It`s really important to refuel your body after a workout. Starving yourself won`t help you lose those pounds. Instead, if you starve yourself, your muscles will just store unnecessary fats for energy. You want to keep on burning those calories.
So including a lot of protein in your meals will help your muscles refuel and find that energy to burn fats. This is one of my favorite breakfast options, steak and eggs. You can mix it up by preparing the eggs different ways, or seasoning the steak differently each time.
