Starry-eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Movie Star

Hey loves,

I am coming to you with a review of the Starry-eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Movie Star and some other products i liked in the set. I got this trio from Ulta in a set; This set contains:
-Behind the Scenes Eye Primer (0.53 oz)
-Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Movie Star (0.15 oz)
-Special Effects Mascara in Black (0.35 oz)
-Front of the Line PRO Eyeliner in Black (0.02 oz)
-Double Ended Blending/ Smudging Brush
I love Ulta because they have high end and drugstore. This Lorac trio has very clear and easy to follow instructions on how to create three different looks. Nice products included in the kit. The biggest downside is that they all have a lot of shimmer/luminescence so you get this weird look if you use them all together. The colors do stay true and they are very neutral as well. I just use one of them with other brands so my eyeshadow doesn`t glow. Also, the liquid eyeliner included tends to be very hard to remove even with eye make-up remover and it does take some practice to get it on nicely. I got this on sale, and figured I would try it out because I was already looking for a mascara and wanted to try a smokey eye look and the eye shadow colors. The colors were close to some that I was already going to be replacing soon anyway. I really like the eyeliner. It goes on much smoother I think than my liquid Urban Decay I was using, though I wonder how long it will last. The eye primer seems comparable to others I have used and the eye shadow colors are nice when applied. The eye primer is effective, but very slick-silicone feel. It does work, but I was hoping for something a bit creamier. The mascara/lash treatment combo is terrible! Treatment goes on white and wet, and stays wet (and white) for a very long time. When finally dry enough to apply mascara over it, mascara went on thick and clumpy and managed to stick my eyelashes together, nothing the elegant definition shown in the "tutorial" photos. I could not get lashes unstuck, either, except by entirely removing the product. Useless! Liquid liner pen contains excellent product; it is very black, it stays and stays! From other reviews people have been saying that they hate the liquid liner pen and they couldnt get the product out. I had no problem with that, it came out perfectly fine. It applied it with a nice, defined line. The eyeshadow trio has been the best product in the kit; it applies smoothly, pigment transfers richly and spreads evenly, and since I have brown eyes and fair skin, is a very good neutrally elegant color set on me. I would gladly buy more of those eyeshadow trios in other colors, and more colors in the liner pen as it is the only effective liquid eyeliner.

Hope you liked this review: make sure to try out some lorac products!
