I got diagnosed with Gastritis over the weekend. =(
For those of you who don`t know, it`s an inflammation of the stomach lining. No wonder I`ve been mad bloated and sick for the past month.
Doctor recommended me to avoid all meat, dairy and wheat products. So I`ve been eating a lot of oatmeal.
So for the first day, I got Starbucks oatmeal because I didn`t get oatmeal during my weekly grocery trips.
It actually wasn`t bad! It was not soggy or mushy. I prefer the texture of oats rather than the texture of mush. But it was also 250+ calories with the dried fruit.
I think I can make a healthier oatmeal that tastes just as good.
They serve it at all times, not just breakfast! I had a nice conversation with the barista about eating oatmeal at 2 pm or 2 am. =)
