Another game review coming your way from me! This one is called Star Wars: Battlefront. I`m pretty sure everyone has heard about this one. Released in 2005 on the PS2, X-Box and PC the game allows you to play on the side of an army from both the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. Either from the Separatist Army, Clone Army, Rebel Army, or Imperial Army. You battle on a variety of worlds and in space to see who can claim the Galaxy.
The game play`s controls are a little complicated at 1st to understand but once you get the hang of them you can see why the developers laid them out the way they did and just how effective it is. The graphics to the game were very stunning for this time and many fans praised it for its realistic aspects. Sound effects were another thing fans and critics loved about the game. Several sounds are actually completely original to the game and were developed just for this game. Others were taken directly from he Lucas Arts sound bank and were implemented very well in the game. The sound tack has many of the songs featured in all 6 movies and some even got a revamp for the game. The game also features online play to up to 64 Players on PC and 32 on the PS2 and X-Box (although the X-Box servers have been taken offline as of 2010). The PS2 and PC serves are still up however. In game you can play up to 5 different types of warriors. 5 which are pretty much equal to each other and a 6th unique to the army your are fighting with. Along with the warriors are up to 25 different in game vehicles that you can fight with. With in the game are also hero/villain fighters that come and fight during the game on your side if you reach a certain condition in the particular battle.
All in all this is one heck of a game. It is by far one of the greatest ground/air/space games in the Star Wars line up and it will keep you coming back for more time and time again. I highly recommend it to any Star Wars fan!
