St Tropez Instant Glow Mousse review!

Hey everyone! I don`t know about you but I think summer has definitely arrived, and being stuck in a shop 5 days out of 7 means I`m not getting to enjoy the gorgeous sunshine we are currently getting in the uk and that means no summer glow! :(

I have plenty of fake tans that I do like using, but when I spotted St Tropez in Home Bargains for just £2.99(!!!) I HAD to give it a go. I knew it was a high end product so I was expecting great results considering it should have cost me upwards of £20, and great results is exactly what I got!

The mousse glides on to skin so velvety and luciously using both a mitt and my palms. It smells divine, definitely a hint of coconut in there, to really get you in the summery mood. I had no problems blending and it seemed to go on so perfectly. It left my skin with a gorgeous golden glow that I was seriously impressed with.

However the next morning, I am not so impressed. One night in bed and practically all the colour has come off my arms. I tanned my leg too, and the only place it looks to still be adhered to is my knee. After applying a small amount with my palm, I washed my hands thoroughly straight after with soap and water, but my palm is distinctly more tanned than the rest of my arm! Also, the mousse seems to have soaked into my follicles and it`s very noticeable at how dark and dirty it looks. Now instead of looking tan, I just look like I haven`t showered in a week! :(

Overall, I`m quite torn with this product. I was so over the moon with the initial results but expected them to last longer than overnight. I guess this is a product you have to put on right before you go out rather than in prep for the next day. It`s worth a shot at £2.99, though, absolutely.

Thanks for reading! X0x0
