It seems as though its been ages since I last posted on Luuux but alas, I have not been well. There is this awful virus that has been going around and I somehow keep falling victim to it. Anyhow, a while back I posted about the extremely generous package my friend May Ly sent me that contained an insane amount of nail polish. There were quite a few greens, since she knows all too well that its my favorite color. Im finally feeling better today so I decided to do my nails with a green theme. There were so many to choose from to be honest but since Im a sucker for glittery polish I finally decided on China Glaze Glittering Garland which is this amazing shade of glittering green with a subtle gold micro-glitter, which I did two coats of. I then decided that it might be fun to add a pot of gold accent by doing my left ring finger in with two coats of China Glaze Champagne Bubbles which is a super gold metallic polish with just a few flecks of glitter. Champagne Bubbles goes on incredibly sheer in my opinion and if you were to use it solo I would think you may even need a third coat to achieve good coverage. Next I topped Champagne Bubbles with two coats of China Glaze Blonde Bombshell. By the way, I am really digging this combination of Blonde Bombshell over Champagne Bubbles and I will definitely be inclined to do a whole manicure in this at a later time. I am sure this manicure isnt for everyone but I am quite happy with it and I think it will be fun for a few days. As always, I begin with Essie Sensitivity Basecoat and finish with Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe St. Pattys Day!
