Squat to Success

Lets face it we all have to do things in life we don`t like and for me squats are on the top ten list!. I just hate doing squats as part of my exercise routine even though I know they work wonders for toning up your upper legs and butt area. For those of you who are not sure what I am referring to it is a strength training exercise which can be done either with or without weights. The main areas that it targets are your thighs, butt, quads, hips and hamstrings. It has also been said to help prevent arthritis and strengthen your entire body.

My squat routine includes some arm weight training also. Basically I will do 15 squats then lift weights for about 8 minutes before I do another 15 squats. I then take a break and drink some water and I repeat this twice more. I do think it keeps me in shape but it hurts so bad!
