Spring rolls and egg rolls are something very common that you can get in American-Chinese restaurants.
Spring rolls (1st pic) are usually smaller than egg rolls. Inside it has all vegetables...mostly cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms.
Egg rolls (2nd pic) are generally larger, have a thicker skin, and has more filling...mostly cabbage and meat.
The restaurant that I work for makes their egg rolls individually by hand by wrapping a combination of cabbage and meat in a sheet of dough, dipping the dough in egg, and lastly deep frying it. The same goes for spring rolls minus the meat and dipping the dough in egg.
So I had these as a snack at work on different days with some duck sauce on the side. Yum! I like them both equally. They cost about $1-1.50. Very cheap, very good, and very tasty!
Which one do you guys like better, spring rolls or egg rolls?
