I`m going to start a mini series on spring nail looks to enter the LUUUX Spring Beauty Look Competition! I`m still a beginner at eye makeup, and makeup in general, so I thought I would focus on something I am better at...nails! Regardless I`d love to win the brushes so I can actually start experimenting with eye makeup. At the moment I have a set of mini eye brushes, so it`d be nice to have some proper brushes to work with. Now...onto the nails!
For this first look, I used China Glaze`s For Audrey which is a gorgeous Tiffany blue that I picked up not too long ago in a haul post. I`m centering the spring nail look on this colour because I think it`s reminiscent of the bright blue skies that will be coming our way and overall just very pretty.
How to achieve this nail look:
1.) After applying a base coat and waiting for it to dry, paint two coats of China Glaze`s For Audrey or any other bright/Tiffany blue you have.
2.) Using a white striper, on the side of most of the nails, paint two thin vertical lines as well as two thin horizontal lines near the tip of the nail
3.) For the accent nail, I used a Konad stamping plate (m62) from the French manicure set. It kind of reminded me of something royal, and I felt like it went with my feelings about the shade of blue. I stamped that on, and finally added a blue rhinestone to finish the look
You can free hand the accent nail if you want, or you can each make a very pretty bow instead and add a rhinestone in the middle of that bow! If you don`t want to try that, you don`t even have to have an accent nail at all and I still think the manicure would look very cute.

Have a great day everyone, and if you get a chance, enter the LUUUX Spring Beauty Look Competition!
