Spring Eye Look: Spring Green (Picture Heavy)

Hey everyone!

All the super fantastic eye/makeup looks for the LUUUX competition has really got me inspired to try one for myself! I don`t have too much to work with, so this will be my one and only eye look! I hope you like it :)

Basically I wanted to create a look that
1.) Focused on one bright spring color
2.) Didn`t use too many products

So here`s the look:

1.) Apply a primer all over your eyes. I cheated and used concealer because I don`t own primer. This cancelled out the darkness on my lids

2.) Apply a base. I used a Maybelline color tattoo in Bad to the Bronze.

3.) For the lid color I used Snakebite from the Naked 2 palette. For the crease I applied a green from my BH Day & Night palette. Then I blended the colors together. The green is washed out in the pictures, but I promise it stands out more than it shows.

4.) Using a flat liner brush, I applied the same green to my lower lash line. Then I applied a thin line of eyeliner (you can barely see it, but I like to keep my eyeliner low key, especially for everyday use) using L`oreal Infallible eyeliner.

5.) Lastly I added a coat of mascara to my top and bottom lashes. I used a Sephora mascara...which to be honest I`m not loving, so I`ll have to look into getting a new one.

The brushes I used are from a mini, double ended traveling pack by BH cosmetics. I don`t have any other brushes, so I used these to create the look!

That`s it! I`m new to eye makeup, so go easy on me, haha!!

What do you think?

Images belong to me!

Have a great day everyone,

green makeup
