I remember being at my sister`s new house. She was painting her nails and somehow the open bottle of nail polish falls right onto her new white carpet. She first tried regular household solvents. When that didn`t work, she panicked in an extreme way. She took a box cutter and cut out the carpet in hopes of replacing it with some spare carpet. It never worked out. She put the spare carpet in. It did not look good. She ended up covering it with a throw rug. Moral of the story, learn to clean nail polish off of a variety of locations. (Not included in this website is something I have read claiming sugar on spilled nail polish will clump it up and make it sweepable. ) nail polish clean
