Spicy Shrimp Soup

The weather where I live is quite chilly today. To give you an idea... I woke up to wildly blowing snow outside. WOOHOO! Everyone around me is cringing that it is snowing in October. Me? Well, I`m celebrating! I adore the cold, the snow, the winter... to me this is heaven! ANYWAY, it is the absolute perfect weather for soups, stews, and spicy broth. I had found a recipe http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/search?updated-max=2012-10-09T14:04:00-04:00&max-results=3&start=3&by-date=false that looked and sounded amazing. I HAD to try it, so that is exactly what I did! I bought the ingredients I needed over the weekend and had in mind to make it at some point during the week. This wasn`t a let-down for me. It packed a bunch, was spicy, warming, full of flavor....it was all around delicious and satisfying. I had never tried sriracha sauce before but this recipe called for a couple of tablespoons. I`m glad I tasted some on my finger before I dumped the called for amount. It was spicier than I expected so I only used about 1.2-1 TEASPOONS of it. I cannot imagine having used two TABLESPOONS... holy burn my mouth and intestines as it went down ...that would have been hot. What did you have for dinner/what are you going to have for dinner?
