Spicy Braised Chicken

This evening I prepared spicy braised chicken for our dinner.

- chicken wings
- potatoes
- white onion
- green onion
- garlic
- green chili pepper
- hot pepper paste
- hot pepper flakes
- soy sauce
- sugar

I used two potatoes, two white onions, and a pack of ten chicken wings. First peeled and cut the potatoes and white onions into bite size, then chopped green onions, green chili pepper, and minced seven cloves of garlic. Lastly I chopped the wings into bite size, washed, and put them into the pot with the white onions. I don`t have exact measurements for the sauce because it depends on your preference. For ours I used about three tablespoons each of hot pepper paste and flakes, two tablespoons of each of soy sauce and sugar, and all the minced garlic then mixed with the chicken and white onions. Next I added about two cups of water and with the lid covered, cooked on medium heat for half an hour. Then I added the potatoes, green onions, and green chili pepper and cooked for another twenty minutes. You can remove the seeds from the green pepper if you don`t want it to be too spicy. Cooked for another five minutes on low heat to let the sauce thicken then served. The potatoes were soft but you can adjust and cook to your preference. It`s delicious and easy to make. Just takes some time to cook.
