Its spaghetti night tonight! I couldnt think of what to cook for dinner today but I have been craving some spaghetti and good thing because I had all the ingredients already in my pantry so I didnt have to go out and grocery shop. The sauce I used is just straight from the Prego jar and I browned up some ground beef and added to the sauce. I added a bit more meat then usual so the sauce was more meaty then saucy but I liked how it turned out. In the sauce besides the ground beef I also added salt, pepper, dried basil and also the rind of the parmesan cheese I had in my fridge. I buy the wedges of parmesan cheese and I cut the rind off which is the outer hard part and I save it and added it to soups or on this occasion spaghetti sauce. I just cut up the rind into smaller pieces and added it to the pot of sauce and on low heat I just let is simmer and the rind will melt and it makes the sauce taste to good! While the sauce was simmering away I cooked up some pasta and that was dinner!
