You may have heard of dumpling of soup, but have you tried dumpling that have soup on the INSIDE before? I haven`t, but I heard about them in a food magazine and was interested. I dragged my friend out to try `em and she recommended Joe`s Shanghai--they`re known for their xiao long bao.
Anyway, the way she taught me to eat them was to first dip the dumpling in the vinegar and ginger sauce. Then place the dumpling on your soup spoon. Gently poke a hole into the dumpling skin with a chopstick and let the soup fill up the spoon. Last enjoy take a bite of the dumpling and a sip of the soup! These were so good, definitely try `em if you get the chance.
