Had a really huge craving for fries today so I made my own.
My favorite fries are McDonald`s shoe string fries, with just the right amount of salt and sogginess.
I found the best fry that matches the McDonald`s fries are the McCain fast Shoestring fries.
Rather than baking them, I put them in a pan a dry-grilled them with some salt, sugar and black pepper.
I put sugar in my fries because it gets rid of the greasy aftertaste. I first had them in a Chinese restaurant and I found that it actually made a lot of sense, so now I always put sugar in my fries, though people think it`s a bit weird =)
