Tonight I made the most amazing salsa ever. The recipe was given to me by my boyfriend`s niece who is only 8 :)
She told me the trick was apple cider vinegar and olive oil. I`ve never made it that way but she was definitely right.
1 (10.5 oz) can diced petite tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 sweet onion - diced
1/2 bunch cilantro - chopped
2 tbsp - apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp - olive oil
Tabasco Brand jalapeño sauce - to taste
Salt & pepper - to taste
Mix all ingredients together, and add salt and pepper to taste, and jalapeño sauce to desired heat.
Blend if desired for a smoother salsa.
