The Xperia J is the new phone from Sony, which is said to be a mini, more affordable brother of the Xperia T, which James Bond used in Skyfall.
The Xperia J has a 1GHz single-core Snapdragon processor and is running Google`s Android operating system, version 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. The processor is a very big let down, as the apps and internet takes very long to load. On the other hand, it has the 2nd newest version on Android, which is good to see on a phone in the cheaper end of Androids.
The pay as you go version of this phone costs 150 pounds, which is not bad for the features of the phone, but could be better.
The Xperia J has an appealing slim design and comes in a variety of colours. The screen is also quite good. What is even more impressing is they great battery life, which is good if you are out and about and can`t recharge frequently.
Sadly, the camera is a big let down. Even though it is 5MP, it doesn`t have the features that most Sony phones have, and takes sluggish, dull with very poor focus, unless you are shooting from close on macro.
To sum it up:
Pros: Attractive design and screen and good battery life
Cons: Slow and unimpressive camera
