I love to cook. Sometimes things don`t go as planned or maybe you want a shortcut. Perhaps you want to try something a little different. I`ve got a great tip for when you need softened butter for your recipe but maybe forgot to take it out (as I often do.)
You will need:
a meat tenderizer, rolling pin, or a heavy pan
parchment paper, wax paper (something to protect your counter and your butter)
Take out your butter in whatever amount you need. Remove the wrapping and place the butter on top of your paper. Then cover the butter with more paper.
Pound away! Is your boyfriend being a jerk? Is someone being irritating at school or work? Take it out on this butter!
In the end you have soft, pliable butter ready for your favorite recipes.
