I wanted to share an ingredient that I put in my food.
It`s a spanish ingredient that we use in our food. And it is very easy to make.
-3 green peppers
-1 orange pepper
-1 red pepper
-2 onions (peeled)
-1 bunch of cilantro
-recao (eryngium) hard to find. If you find it no worries dont need it.
-1 head garlic or 4 tbsp of minced garlic
- 2 tbsp of salt
- 1 black pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp oregano
- 2 packages of sazon goya
Peel and cut this ingredients and put into a blender and puree it. Then you put it into jars. Put one jar in the refrigerator for later use. And the other jars in the freezer.
I bought sofrito one time didnt like it at all. My mother inlaw makes some and always gives me some. But I learned how to make it now I give my mom, sister inlaws and sisters some.
Once you make it and put it into your food you will see the difference.
