Today`s snack of the day is a red bean dessert soup! I think it`s also called `tong shui` in cantonese! I personally like mung beans better when it comes to dessert soups but red beans are just as good, it`s just that they add more ingredients to the dessert soup. In my red bean dessert soup there was barley, red beans, and dried lily bulb, but I only eat the red beans and drink the soup. I had it cold today, you could eat this whether it`s hot or cold, but since it`s summer, I put it in the fridge and had a cooling snack. The soup is really sweet too which I like sometimes when I`m craving for something sweet. Have you ever tried red bean dessert soup? What did you have for a snack today?? :DD
