This is one of the appetizers my sister served at her early Christmas party, smoked salmon with creme fraiche (french cultured cream) topped with chives, lemon zest on toasted crostini bread. Each bite was creamy delicious with the smoked samon, creme and added chives and lemon zest flavor! This is a very easy to make appetizer and vibrant in color.
