I find this extremely weird. A couple of years ago I bought this pair of really nice skinny jeans from B.P. Nordstrom by the brand Vigoss. It fits like a dream and is really comfortable although it kind of stretches out throughout the day with wear. The are a pair of dark wash denim blue skinny jeans... and they smell SOUR! I even found a laundry forum online and I`m starting to think it has something to do with the darker dyes. I have another pair of black pants from B.P. Nordstrom as well and they also have this sour smell. They didn`t smell like this when I bought them, but when I washed they came out of the wash and dried with this sour smell. I didn`t even leave it in the machine and they still smelled. By throwing them in the dryer it made thing better, but as I wore it throughout the day, my body heat would "heat" up the smell as well. Isn`t this strange? Jeans aren`t supposed to do this... like I don`t understand. If any of you have had this issue please comment below! It really frustrates me because I hate having to repurchase things I already have. It`s quite frustrating.
I`m going to be soaking my jeans in vinegar and then washing them to see what happens. I will update if it works. If any of you have any other suggestions such as Borax etc., please let me know!
