A French company has created a device Olf-action concept that adds perfume to videos. Smellit called if the device was developed to complement the experience of playing games or watching movies.
According to Technabob site, the device can emit smells of gasoline, horses, flowers and even a naked body. The Smellit has no set price or release date, since it is a prototype. However, the site states that the system of odors shall be submitted in Lisbon Design Show, an event that will happen in Portugal between 11 and 15 October.
A device launched in January this year, called ScentSciences, has the same functionality. With it, the user synchronizes perfumes in movies through a video editor, and the device triggers the scent chosen at the time the pictures are running. The aromas are stored in cartridges and offer up to 200 hours of movies. If you want a new perfume, the manufacturer receives requests for customization and can even include a feature that allows you to adjust the intensity of each odor.
