I have relatively light eyes for an Asian, but not quite Hazel. It`s more of a lighter shade of milk chocolate.
I went to Sephora the other day to check out what types of eyeshadows would work with lighter brown eyes, so I naturally went for the Hazel Eyes palette.
I was actually very happy to see that the majority of the colors were shades of beige as I really don`t like using dark colors and personally, I`m against using dark colors to bring out brown eyes. There`s just too much shadow and not enough light.
Palette contained very natural colors, the beige helped to bring out the hazel eyes
They provide 3 base colors - beige, pink and very light coral
The 3 darker shadows were - camo green, navy blue and royal purple
You can create a multitude of looks both for night and day with this palette.
Staying power was amazing!
Did not smudge at all!
Colors resemble the Naked palette
Very matte colors, some shimmer would bring out color
Base colors only tailor to fair skinned people
$51 seems a bit steep for a palette
Overall, it looks like its a great starter palette for those who have fair skinned but for the price, you can easily build your own or find a better palette.
The one thing I liked was the staying power of the shadows. I`ve reviewed many palettes and this one seemed to be the best one in terms of quality.
Hope that helps.
