Tommorow, Sunday June 23 at 8:00pm ET, Nik Wallenda will walk a tightrope across the Grand Canyon with no safety net, harness, or safety rope. Nik Wallenda is a 7th generation tightrope walker who holds many tightrope walking records. Tragically, Karl Wallenda, Nik Wallendas great grandfather, fell during a performance in Puerto Rico and died at age 73. Nik Wallenda was born a year after his great grandfather died. At age 19 Nik Wallenda vowed to his family that he would make sure that the world would know who the Wallendas were again. Nik Wallenda stayed true to his promise. In June of 2012, Nik walked 1800 feet across the niagra falls becoming the first person to ever do so. Nik says " The only thing that I fear is God ".
