This is Skinfood`s Ancient Rice toner and my general impressions of it just from using the sample. This had a sort of tea smell to it, and it didn`t remind me too much of rice, but more of barley. It`s a very liquid-y toner compared to the other Skinfood toner samples I tried. I put this on a cotton pad and applied it using circular motions moving upwards on my skin. It felt cooling, but it didn`t have much of a refreshing feeling that other toners give me. It kind of felt as if I just wiped water on my face. I think it`s something that is very gentle. It`s one of those toners that is probably very good for people with sensitive skin because it does not feel striping at all, it`s very light. Overall, just from this impression, I don`t think it`s the toner for me because their toners are about $17-$24, and I would not spend that much on this Rice Toner. If you read my other post, you`ll know I`m going to get the full size of their Platinum Grape Cell Toner instead.
