[SKINCARE] My favourite Masks.

My combination sensitive picky skin absolutely loves face masks although, needless to say, those which are designed to absorb excess oils and detox my t-zone are also the ones which tend to dry my face out like hell.

That said, I have found a handful of hidden gems which work wonders for my stubborn skin without leaving it all red and blothcy.
I bow to skincare gurus, bloggers and youtubers for having introduced me to these pearls. Kudoz to Caroline Hirons, in particular.

I prefer the more creamy ones, they give me a luxury feeling, like being at the spa, although the more textured clay ones are the best for my skin type.

One I love is a new addition to my `mask wardrobe`, Superfacialist Tea Flower Pore Purifying Clay Mask (£8.99). It goes on very smoothly and it dries as the 10-15 minutes go by - to that `stiff-face` phase. When you rinse it off, you can feel your skin being smoother and your pores are visibly reduced.
Number two on my list, Soap&Glory No Cloggs Allowed Deep Pore Detox Mask (£11.50). This is another realtively affordable product which feels indeed very luxurious on your skin. Being a detoxifying mask, it helps to clear out your pores and get rid of impurities, so it works wonders for combo and oily skin. Not miraculous, but still very nice and effective.
Probably on of the most effective mask I`ve tried so far, although the most difficult to get your hands on coming from overseas (and not the cheapest), is the Kaolin Clay Mask from Michael Todd True Organics ($34). It is very strong and tend to be a little bit harsher though, so you might want to be careful and try a little sample first. It leaves my skin feeling amazing and it actually does something to my pores and balckheads - it doesn`t reduce the appearance of them, it`s somehow more effective than that. Love.
A less expensive one, but still on the pricey side of the range, is REN Clarimatte Invisible Pores Detox Mask (£18). I`m getting repetitive here, but it feels amazing on your skin, rinse off quite nicely without leaving gunky residues on your face and actually puryfies your skin and pores.
