I recently picked up a serum from Sephora that I wanted to share with you guys. I wasn`t sure how known this brand was, but I recently heard Lisa Elridge talk about this serum in one of her videos, discussing it for the same purpose I was told to use it for. I`m glad she did because I bought this but didn`t have the most faith in my Sephora MUA who had recommended it, lol.
I basically went into Sephora looking for a serum for my pigmentation left behind by acne. I wanted something to lighten it/fade the scars but wasn`t sure what to use exactly. The girl who helped me said this was a great product for that. She said it would take 5 weeks to show results, but that one bottle would make a huge difference by the time I was done.
The bottle says that it`s for all skin types (which makes sense since serums arent really made for skin types as far as I know). It`s a runny liquid which feels cooling on the skin. It takes a minute to dry but gives it a great feel when you`re done. Apparently this makes your skin sensitive to UV rays so you have to wear sunscreen with it.
I`ve been using it for (I think) 2 weeks now and I can say that I do see a difference so far. My mom actually noticed the difference as well, along with some friends, so I would say it`s definitely making a change if other people who see me regularly can notice it:).
I would recommend it for those who have tons and tons of pigmentation left over only, because it comes with a hefty pricetag. I purchased this for $80, quite ridiculous in my opinion. I`ve had acne for years and I`ve never gotten something like this for the exact reason that I knew the good ones were expensive. Having used it though, I would recommend it; again, ONLY if you have a serious case like I do.
I hope you guys found this review helpful. Let me know if you`ve used this or know of something else that does this as well. Happy Luuuxing!
