You might know, or even own, the Skechers shoes in the picture that claim to tone your behind and more just by using them, which makes the Skechers sound already sketchy ( =D ).
The fitness shoes, that were advertised by Kim Kardashian in a big campaign recently, will take out of Skechers 40M$ because their claims have been found to be untrue.
The company made some big claims for their sport/fitness shoes and went beyond the toning muscles claim and also said that the people who would wear the shoes would also lose weight and improve their cardiovascular system.
Just by reading their claims is not difficult to imagine why the U.S. Federal Trade Commission found their claims untrue. They were basicly saying that you just have to wear the shoes and didn`t had to put much work into it, at least thats what i got from the claims, that you didn`t had to do cardio(actual exercise) and you would lose weight and get fit.
I hope that at least the shoes were comfortable for the people that got them but if someone got them because they wanted their "muscle toning and weight loss results" should get a refund.
Do you own a pair of Skechers shoes?
Did you believed that the shoes worked for muscle toning and weight loss or did you find it a scam also?
