Crosses have been in fashion a lot lately, especially in jewelry. Although the cross is a symbol of the Christian faith many people have been wearing the cross even though they don`t believe in it. I for one am Christian and so don`t only see it as a fashion accessory but a reminder and statement of my faith. I`m not one of those people who get super angry when non-Christians wear the cross, I just find it bit strange when it is something so closely linked to Christianity.
Also the whole sideways cross isn`t a symbol of Christianity comment. I just think it can be seen as a modern take on the the crucifix necklace that has been worn for years. I`ve wanted this necklace for about 2 years and was happy when I saw it in Urban Outfitters in Covent Garden for just £10.
Unfortunately I stupidly left it on while washing my face and of course the fake gold has rusted on one side already :(
Besides that, I love how delicate and subtle the necklace looks and hope to save up to get one in real Gold. It`s also great for stacking with other necklaces if you`re a jewelry addict like me or leaving on its on for a classic and simple look.

What do you think of the necklace? And what do you think of people wearing cross necklaces, bracelets, jumpers and other such things if they aren`t Christians?
