So a bug blizzard came by all of yesterday until the early hours this morning, which meant we spent the most of the paat 24 hours shoveling.
After helping out neighbors and shoveling our own yard, I decided to share my tips of how we make shoveling bearable.
- Dress is layers. Although it can be chilly out, shoveling can be a workout so wear proper layers and gloves to keep you comfortable.
-Shovel in shifts. Meaning, if you`re expecting 20+. Inches of snow, don`t wait until it stops to start shoveling. We go out every few hours to get work done.
- Use your legs. Like good form in a workout, don`t strain your back while shoveling. Get low and loft with your legs and keep your mid section tight.
Its not always a fun task, but these tips can make it easier for you.
