Hi everyone! Long time no posting! After my last post, things got really busy with school and finals, so I really had to put blogging on the back burner and focus on my studies. But now that finals are over, I can hopefully post a little bit more for the next three weeks before school starts. This haul was actually something I did back in September, but never got around to posting about. I went shopping with my mom and was able to find lots of goodies at various stores. Physicians Formula Bronze Booster in Medium to Dark (~$14) No doubt Physicians Formula has some of the more expensive products to be found at the drugstore, which is why I will only buy them when there`s a really good sale going on, either BOGO FREE or 40% off. Since this was done so long ago I can`t remember what kind of sale it was, but it was a pretty good deal. I have the http://www.luuux.com/node/3217903/edit bronzer, which I use for everyday bronzing and contouring, but everyone else seems to really like this darker shade for contouring so I thought I`d try it. Physicians Formula Happy Booster Bronzer ($~14) I`m guessing that it must have been a BOGO FREE promo that was going on since I picked up two products. I was going through a bronzer kick, and picked this one up since the color was a bit more neutral and I love the smell of the Happy Booster line. L`Oreal Voluminous Waterproof mascara: I bought this one while it was sale at CVS I think. After originally trying the /viz/review-loreal-voluminous-carbon-black-waterproof-mascara, I decided to try the original in waterproof. This has been my go-to mascara since purchasing it and now I remember why this one was my favorite mascaras when I first started with makeup. Physicians Formula Bamboo Wear Powder and Compact set ($7.99 from Ross) I love finding these kinds of products at Ross because they are typically cheaper than you would have found at the drugstore. I really like PF powders and bronzers, and I had never tried this particular line so I picked this up. Each of the powder refills retails for $10 each and the compact is $7, so this set was definitely a steal. High Definition Precision Foundation Brush ($2.99 from Ross) These brand of brushes were at Walmart at point, I think. I have the Sigma Sigmax pointed foundation brush, but that one is huge compared to this one. The size of this brush is good for point concealing problem spots, under the eyes, around the nose and mouth, etc. It`s also made of synthetic material so it`s easy to clean. Too Faced Hot Cocoa Bronzing Duo ($10 at Sephora): Since I was in a bronzer phase, I picked up this little treat while at Sephora. For some reason this rang up at $20 and I didn`t find out it was actually supposed to be $10 until I checked my Sephora account at home and found it was $10 online. Went back for a price adjustment a couple weeks later and let them know it was the wrong price. Hello Kitty pink plaid compact mirror ($10 at Sephora): With the $10 from the price adjustment of the bronzing set, I picked up this Hello Kitty compact mirror from the sale section. This design was from the nerd HK line that was in stores several months ago. The exterior is plastic but the bow is sort of a felt-like material. Sephora blush and bronzer duo in Sunset Dance ($7 at Sephora): Sephora had a bunch of their in-house cosmetics on sale and this duo looked like a dupe for NARS Laguna and Orgasm but was only $7 and the compact is HUGE. I didn`t that a size reference picture but the compact is about the size of my palm plus 1/3 of the length of my fingers. Great deal for $7. The stuff from the drugstore should still be available if you`re interested in purchasing, while the stuff from Ross and Sephora will be more of a hunt. Have you picked up any interesting products lately? Thanks for reading! All images and content are my own.
