I`m here to share a small haul from Shopper`s Drug Mart for you all. Shopper`s is the sole place in Canada (at least to my knowledge) where you can buy Essence beauty products.
Essence is a European brand and is known for being very affordable - and I love the majority of the items I have tried from them!
Often times, their lines get released in Europe before they come to North America, so I have been waiting for their nude lipsticks to come to Shopper`s for a while now!
Finally, when I went it the other day, I noticed that the lipsticks from that line had been introduced. There were three shades available, but I chose `Cool Nude` which seems to be a great `Kylie Jenner` dupe lip colour.
While I was at the Essense display, I couldn`t help but pick up some other items as well! I got another one of their Nail art express dry drops since it is one of my favs. For under 3 bucks, this product is great at help your nail polish cure instantly! A total holy grail product for me!
I also decided to get a lip liner - i`m not one to use a lot of lip liner, but I`ve heard great things about these essence ones and at around 2 bucks, I figure it is worth checking out! Who knows, maybe lip liner will be a major part of my beauty routine now!
I also picked up one of the extra large matte bronzing compacts for lighter skin. This colour looks like it could be a great contouring shade for me without being too dark. I love a good matte bronzer so this looked like it was worth checking out!
After I was done checking out the Essence display, I wandered around seeing if there was anything else I wanted or needed. That`s when I came across a display with a bunch of face masks courtesy of Life Brand which is Shopper`s in-house brand. These were only 1.99 each so I picked up a brightening sheet mask for my skin as a little pick me up.
Lastly, I couldn`t help but check out the clearance display (a must for me every time I visit Shopper`s since I regularly find some winners in there). This time, I noticed some Sally Hansen nail polishes that are part of the 2 step system where the top coat cures the colour like a gel. I have 2 colour and the top coat at home, and I thought the beige colour on sale would be a good neutral fall colour, though it is differently from the usual, bright or bold colours I usually opt for. It was only 3.99 on clearance while these normally go for closer to 10 bucks so I figured it was a good deal regardless :)
I`m excited about my new lipstick and also excited to treat myself to a mini spa day at home with that sheet mask!
