This is my current nail of the moment. For some reason I decided it was a perfect time to paint my nails last night, not realizing that it was nearly 2am, so I was knee deep in and finished, waited a while to make sure it was completely dry before eventually knocking out for the night.
I picked Naughty up at Walgreens a number of weeks back and had wanted to use it. I kept forgetting about it and I finally spotted it and decided that was what was going on my nails. If you dont know, Naughty is a re-release of Revlons Perplex which is a dupe for Chanels Paradoxal. Naughty or Perplex is a gorgeous muted violet purple with a grey undertone. There is a bit of a shimmer to the polish, although there are no visible shimmers or microshimmers in it. Its a gorgeous shade, but I admit in the bottle it looks a little iffy because the color is a little peculiar when compared to whats out in the market now. But on the nails, it wears gorgeously!
I wanted a little oomph so I originally planned on doing one accent nail with Facets of Fuchsia, but when I started painting, I decided to go with two accent nails on both my ring and pointer fingers. I absolutely LOVE Facets its a stunning glitter polish, which can be worn alone or over a base. I feel it gave my nails the pizzazz I was looking for!
Heres what I used:
* 1 coat Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat
* 2 coats Revlon Nail Enamel in Naughty
* 1 coat on accent nails Revlon Nail Enamel in Facets of Fuschia
* 1 coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
Do you have either of these polishes in your collection?
Would you recreate something like this for yourself?
