Once again I had no idea what I wanted for lunch today. I ended up finding a can of Bush`s baked beans in the cabinet and decided beans sounded good. I hadn`t had any in a while and beans is just one of those side dishes I enjoy. The side dish just meant I was going to be having hot dogs. I mean, beans and hot dogs are just a staple item paired together. Since I didn`t just want plain ole beans and hot dogs, I decided to put 1/4 teaspoon olive oil and 2 teaspoons of margarine in a pan with a diced medium onion. I let it cook and brown, then added in some canned sauerkraut that I squeezed the juice out of it and cooked up. When done, I put my beans on a plate, my hot dogs on the plate and topped it with mustard, relish and a little bit of ketchup, then topped it all with a large helping of sauerkraut.
I love sauerkraut. I could have literally just eaten it on a piece of bread and been super happy haha.
