This is my dinner from tonight! We had a pork loin which we purchased from the market, that was already seasoned in the package. It was called a "Chinese Pork Loin" but it didn`t really taste sweet like other "Chinese" themed meats at the market (Chinese sausage, spare ribs, etc.). The meat was very lean and very tasty; it had a slight sweetness to it but almost a smoke to it, so it was a hit. I paired this along side some stewed Greek style green beans. Greek green beans (they`re regular fresh green beans w/ the ends snapped off) are stewed for hours with crushed tomatoes, summer squash, and onion. And I mean literally stewed for HOURS, like all afternoon! You can make the sauce thicker by adding in some tomato paste, but they were perfect just like this. This is very much how my local Greek restaurant serves them, so they`re great! It was a great side and filling, so there wasn`t a need for a starch on the plate.
