Shannon`s DOTD - Pasta amp Meatballs

This is my dinner of the night. Pasta and meatballs!

My boyfriend wanted pasta, so I made myself some wheat pasta (just a personal preference) and him some regular angel hair. I took some Al Fresco tomato & basil chicken meatballs out of the freezer and let them defrost. The great thing about these meatballs is that they are already cooked, all you have to do is brown them in a pan and bring them up to temperature. I went ahead and did that, then put some minced garlic in the pan, along with a whole medium onion that I diced and microwaved with a teaspoon of water for 1 1/2 minutes to soften. I threw that in a pan and then added in a jar of Barilla vidalia onion & garlic sauce. If I can`t make my own sauce, Barilla tends to be one of my go-to sauce because it tastes really good and not like a bland jarred sauce. I heated the sauce through until it was bubbling, then turned the flame off.

I ate my 2 ounces of cooked pasta, with 1/2 cup sauce and 4 chicken meatballs. Very delicious and filling meal.
